چکیده

Doxorubicin (DOX) is known as a chemotherapeutic agent for treating variety of cancers. However, due to non-specific distribution, DOX causes severe side effects, leading the limitation its clinical application. In this study, pH-sensitive redox nanoparticles containing were studied form drug-coated with size about 40-60 nm that increases concentration drugs accumulated at tumor site in response low pH conditions. The optimal properties investigated by analysing antioxidant activity, sensitivity pH, drug delivery environment, and toxicity on cancer cells, thereby observing possibility inhibiting migration cells. Results showed combination not only anticancer colorectal (C-26), breast (MCF-7) but also reduces bovine aorta endothelial cells (BAEC) inhibits C-26 cell vitro.Thepaper results reveal application potential improving effectiveness treatment.

Redox-responsive and pH-sensitive nanoparticles enhanced stability and anticancer ability of erlotinib to treat lung cancer in vivo

Purpose Erlotinib (ETB) is a well-established therapeutic for non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). To overcome drug resistance and severe toxicities in the clinical application, redox-responsive and pH-sensitive nanoparticle drug delivery systems were designed for the encapsulation of ETB. Methods Poly(acrylic acid)-cystamine-oleic acid (PAA-ss-OA) was synthesized. PAA-ss-OA-modified ETB-loade...

In Vitro Bactericidal Activity of Encapsulated Amikacin in Liposome

Background and Objectives:  The most common problems limiting the medical use of aminoglycosides have been the nephro- and oto-toxicities as well as the increasing bacterial resistance. Encapsulation of drugs into liposomes enhances their efficacy while reducing their toxicities. The aim of this study was to evaluate the antimicrobial activity of free and liposomal amikacin. Material and Metho...

Anticancer Activity of Nanoparticles Based on PLGA and its Co-polymer: In-vitro Evaluation

Attempts have been made to prepare nanoparticles based on poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) and doxorubicin. Biological evaluation and physio-chemical characterizations were performed to elucidate the effects of initial drug loading and polymer composition on nanoparticle properties and its antitumor activity. PLGA nanoparticles were formulated by sonication method. Lactide/glycolide ratio ...
